Four prize cards, and none of them are legal in New Division

The Duelist's Summer Holiday II Heroes Set is back on sale, and the official notice carries a detail the storefront does not lead with: all four of its prize cards are barred from New Division. Not some of them. All of them.

What a Heroes Set is

A paid bundle, not a card pack. Each one contains five packs of the current set, one random prize card from that set's pool, and one skin chip. Four chips exchange for a character skin. Prize cards are alternate-art versions featuring PLAY'S characters, and skins change the cut-in animation that plays when you trigger a Shield Trigger.

This one, — SUMMER VACATION OF DUELIST II — returned to sale on 6 August at 18:00 JST. Being a rerun, its five skins are labelled 2025 summer: Kasumi, Glenn, Kaito, Q.E.D. and Wedding. Note that there are five skins but only four prize cards — they do not pair up one to one.

The four revealed so far

Three of the four were posted on 18–19 August, roughly one every few hours, each with a line from its character. The fourth, Kachua, is listed in the official notice but has not been given a reveal post.

Wedding Innocence, Peak of "Slander"Not ND legal "Welcome to the summer festival." — Wedding
Gunbullman, Land Hegemon VehicleNot ND legal "Right then — let's play hard." — Glenn
I amNot ND legal "Today I'll forget work, and just listen to the waves." — Kaito
Kachua, Dragon Dance FairyNot ND legal Listed in the official notice; no reveal post.
One card that is not in this set Spell Cyclica, Dragon Element Sr was posted with the same #ヒーローズセット tag on 18 August, but it does not appear anywhere in the official notice for this set. It is most likely a preview for a different Heroes Set. Treated as unconfirmed here rather than folded in.

The part that actually matters

All four are ND-illegal The official notice states plainly that Kachua, Gunbullman, I am and Wedding Innocence cannot be used in New Division. There is no exception in the list. If you are buying this set hoping for something playable on the rotating ladder, there is nothing in it for you — every prize card here is All Division only.

This is not a nerf or a ban. Prize cards are alternate printings of older cards, and New Division only contains recent sets — so a prize card reprinting something from outside that window stays outside it. All four are fully legal in All Division.

It is worth knowing before spending, because the storefront does not lead with it. The restriction appears as a footnote under the prize card list, not on the purchase screen.

What you are actually buying

Four chips exchange for one skin. With five skins in this set, a full collection means twenty chips — twenty purchases. Skins are cosmetic: they change your avatar, add a Shield Trigger cut-in, and give the character a voiced presence on the home screen, including lines that fire on new set releases, events, and incoming presents.

Sources

Card names are literal translations given alongside the Japanese, since these cards have never had an English printing. Flavour lines are paraphrased.

Corrected 19 August Two rounds of correction. First: the article said the set contained five prize cards with Spell Cyclica as the one New Division exception. The official notice lists four, and all four are barred; Cyclica appears nowhere in it and has been moved out and flagged as unconfirmed. Second: Wedding Innocence's name was printed with the wrong kanji — 課 rather than 誣 — which changes the meaning entirely. The set's pack composition has also been attributed to the wiki, since this notice does not state it.
