Players cannot agree whether the Legend Battle got better
The solo event that has been running since 1 October is what almost every post this site turned up this week was about. The posts do not agree. Some want its structure scrapped; one argues it was already fixed and nobody noticed; others are just enjoying it. The striking part is that the complaint and the defence cite the same change.
The schedule and the numbers in the next section are different: those are from the publisher's own announcement.
What the event is, from the notice
Legend Battle 「深淵より時を歪めて」 runs 1 October 17:00 to 21 October 23:59 JST. It is solo play against named rivals, and it opened in stages: chapter one arrived with the opening when the event itself began, 1 October at 17:00; chapter two followed on 3 October, chapter three on 5 October and the ending on 7 October, those three each at 05:00.
Chapters one and two run at 初級 to 上級. Chapter three is the only one that goes up to 伝説級, and the stage missions that pay Legend Points exist only at that tier. The point caps are 5,000 for each of chapters one and two and 13,000 for chapter three. Tickets come from a five-day login bonus worth up to 100 and from event missions worth up to 145, and a ticket is only spent when you win; a loss returns it.
The complaint is about its shape
None of it is about difficulty. On 2 October one player described the format as the same as previous non-collaboration Legend Battles — grinding the hardest tier eight more times per chapter at 500 points a win. That per-win figure is their number, not the publisher's; the notice gives caps and does not say what a win pays. If 500 is right, chapter three's 13,000 is twenty-six wins.
Another wrote that the points on offer could stand to be higher. On 3 October a third said they had written into the in-game survey asking for the timed unlocks to be removed altogether, so a player could keep going until their tickets ran out rather than waiting for each chapter. A fourth said ranked felt less enjoyable to them than the paper game at the moment, and they were spending their time here instead.
The defence runs on the same fact as the complaint
On 6 October a player pushed back, and the thing they pointed at had already been said by somebody complaining four days earlier. Both of them say the unlock requirement changed: it used to take two wins at 上級 to open the back half of a chapter's story, and now it takes one.
The player complaining on 2 October mentioned it as the one part that had improved. The player on 6 October used it as the whole argument: people are building up resentment, the requirement demonstrably was relaxed, so the event cannot have gone unimproved — and, they added, nobody else was saying it, so they would.
A third reaction, which is neither
Some posts are not grading the event at all. On 7 October one player called the 伝説級 fight against ガ・リュミーズ absurd and said they loved it, singling out the moment Baraghiara arrives off two mana. On 6 October another put it almost the opposite way round — using Baraghiara there is fun, and also boring. Someone else published their own notes on an efficient farming deck for the event.
Those three were posted within about a day of each other, about the same fight.
Underneath the argument, the Legend tier was broken
On the morning of 6 October a player wrote that the opponent using their skill made the game unable to proceed. Later the same day another described it precisely: when ガ・リュミーズ's Legend Skill fires at 伝説級, the opponent sits in thinking forever and the game stops. They asked whether it was only happening to them, and added that they could not open the contact form in the app or on the site to report it.
The publisher's running known-issues notice was updated that same day, 6 October, and two of the thirteen issues it newly listed were in chapter three against ガ・リュミーズ at 伝説級. This site cannot say which came first, only that the posts and the update carry the same date. The inaccessible contact form is one player's report and is not something this site checked.
The same sequence — players describing a fault, then the notice listing it — happened at the end of September with the story-mode soft-lock, which this site wrote up.
Both chapter-three entries are in that fix; this site checked those two itself. The notice now lists ten items under that heading, and the still-open list has gone from seven entries to ten. It cannot be matched up any further than that — the 6 October version was overwritten, so which of the thirteen ended up where is not something this site can establish beyond the two it checked. Nothing above is withdrawn: the players did describe the fault, and the notice did list it. What is wrong is the tense, and the correction is that the window between the posts and the fix was a single day.
Added 10 October, after re-reading the notice. The publisher edits it in place and keeps no archive, so the 6 October version this page was written from no longer exists anywhere this site can link to.
What this page is not
It is not a count, and it is not a poll. These are ten posts, dated 2, 3, 6 and 7 October, that surfaced in Japanese keyword searches run on 7 October. The search this site uses returns a handful of posts and then stops, so it can show what individual people wrote and never what share of players wrote it — including the claim at the top of this page that the event is what people were posting about. A disagreement visible in ten posts is not a split community; it is ten people, and the people who are content with an event rarely say so. The ending unlocked on 7 October, so anyone who finishes the story after this page was written is not in it at all.
