Set 37 is running two opposite ideas at once

The set lands on 24 September. At least thirty-three cards have been shown so far, and the ones whose text has been published fall into three lines, two of which share a shape and one of which does the opposite. One empties your hand and spends your own shields. The other stacks cards up under a two-cost field until it can cast a ninety-nine cost spell for free.

It is out. The set went live on 24 September across a maintenance window of 9:00–17:00 JST, and the full contents are: ninety base cards, four gold-treatment reprints and twelve secrets. Below are the thirty-four that were revealed one at a time, described in full — and under them, what the complete list settles about the shape of the set.

Effects are described below in plain English; the official posts are embedded so you can see the cards themselves.

Line one: Fire, and running out on purpose

Every Fire card shown pays you for having less — fewer cards in hand, fewer shields in front of you.

Balga Raiza

Type CreatureRace Dragon Guild / Beat Jockey Cost 8Power 8000
SympathyOne less to cast for each Beat Jockey you control. It cannot drop below one, since the card is single-civilization. Speed AttackerAttacks the turn it arrives. Double BreakerBreaks two shields. G・G・GWhile your hand is one card or fewer, your other creatures all gain Speed Attacker. On attackWhenever any of your creatures attacks, flip the top card of your deck. A Beat Jockey or Dragon costing no more than the attacker may go straight into play; anything else goes to the bottom.

Flow "GIG" Roll

Type NEO CreatureRace Beat Jockey Cost 7Power 2000+
NEO EvolutionStacks onto a Fire creature, or is played as an ordinary creature. On summonYou may bin one of your own shields to take five off the cost. ConditionalIf any player is on two shields or fewer, it gets +4000 power and Double Breaker.

Seven mana becomes two if you are willing to take the hit — and the shield you spent is what switches on the bonus. The cost and the payoff are the same action. The condition reads any player, so an opponent breaking your shields does the job as well.

Sukebo Churis

Type CreatureRace Beat Jockey Cost 3Power 2000
On playChoose one: discard a card and draw two, or destroy an opposing creature of power 2000 or less.

The small one that makes the rest work. Discarding to draw is how a Fire deck reaches an empty hand deliberately — and an empty hand is the condition everything else is waiting on.

A fourth Fire card, revealed separately through Corocoro, takes the same idea further: free to cast if it is the only card you are holding, then a board wipe. Its own page is here.

Line two: Darkness, and stacking up to ninety-nine

The cards shown on Grand Prix day do the opposite. Nothing is spent — it is banked.

Shinsekai (Grand Zero)

Type Mugetsu FieldCost 2 Power —
BankAfter you cast one of your Madougu spells, you may tuck it under this field instead of sending it to the graveyard, and draw a card. OverrideYou may cast Madougu and Dolsuzak spells even through effects that stop you casting. FragileIf the field leaves the battle zone, everything stacked under it is binned. Gate 99At the end of your turn, with four or more cards under it, once per game: cast a Water spell costing 99 or less from your hand or graveyard, free.

Ga Ryumizu

Type SpellRace Dolsuzak Cost 99
EffectSummon up to four Dolsuzak from your hand or graveyard without paying for them. EffectTake an extra turn after this one — unless this already is one.
The ninety-nine is not decoration The field unlocks a Water spell costing 99 or less. This spell costs exactly 99. The number exists so that these two cards find each other, and no honest deck ever pays it.

Confirmed since: the publisher's own gameplay showcase ran exactly this line — the field's gate casting the ninety-nine spell.

So the sequence reads: two mana to place the field, spells tucked underneath as you cast them, and on the turn the fourth one lands, four free creatures and another turn. That is the shape of the Darkness line.

Two more from the same day

Melavolgal and Shiten no Sabaki were shown the same day. Both belong to the Darkness line; the first is a Dolsuzak, described in its post as destroying without regard for sides. I have not read either card's text and am not describing it.

A note on that first name: the official post and the main Japanese guide site spell it differently — against . Until the card itself has been read, this page does not pick one.

Line three: Water, and a new keyword

Two Water cards arrived on 15 September, and with them an ability the game has not had before.

Zenoshark / Crystal Memory

Type TwinpactRace Mutopia Creature 3 / 1000Spell 4
Smash BurstWhen the creature attacks, cast this card's own spell half for free. Spell halfShield Trigger. Name a number, then Super Search your deck for a card of that cost and take it to hand.
"Super Search" is not the same as searching PLAY'S does not let you look through your whole deck. A search shows you up to three distinct cards matching the condition, chosen at random from those that qualify; a Super Search shows five. You pick from what you are shown.

In practice it is often a clean tutor — few decks run six or more different cards at the same cost, so naming a number usually surfaces what you wanted. But it is a cap, not a guarantee, and the paper version of this spell has no such limit.
Smash Burst changes what a Twinpact is Until now a Twinpact made you pick a half — creature or spell, not both. This keyword lets one card be both: a three-cost body that fires a four-cost tutor every time it attacks, and that still works as a Shield Trigger sitting in defence.

Clanvia

Type CreatureRace Mutopia Cost 4Power 4000
On playReveal the top three cards of your deck; every spell among them goes underneath this creature, the rest to the graveyard. BankAfter you cast a spell from hand, you may tuck it under a Clanvia instead of binning it. On attackBin a spell from underneath whose civilization matches a card in your mana zone, and cast it for free.

Which is the Darkness field's idea again, on a creature. Spells accumulate underneath; attacking spends them. Two different civilizations have now been given the same shape.

And two more, revealed elsewhere

Inkan D and Homehome Rō / Homehome Rōku are also out. The second was an exclusive reveal through a Japanese guide site rather than the official account. Neither is described here — I have not read them.

Three channels, not one Cards for this set are being revealed through the official account, Corocoro Online, and at least one guide site, each with its own exclusives. Watching only the official account misses cards — which is how the first version of this page came to be short by two.

The other six, now read

These came through Corocoro, a Japanese guide site and the official YouTube channel rather than the official account. Effects described in plain English.

Money King / "Senkyaku Banrai Hō nya!"

Type TwinpactRace Jokers Creature 10 / 22222Spell 22
CreatureSpeed Attacker and Quadruple Breaker. At the end of its attack it untaps; you may then bury your whole hand under your deck at random and draw five. Once a turn. SpellDestroy two opposing creatures of power 22222 or less, then put this card into the battle zone.
This is the twenty-two everyone was asking about A spell nobody casts honestly. Clanvia banks spells and casts one free when it attacks — so the ship turns into two dead creatures and a 22222-power Speed Attacker arriving at once. The video asking how anyone is meant to use a 22-cost card was about this, and the answer was published the same week.

Buttobi Scramble

Type SpellCost 4
EffectPut a creature costing four or less from your hand into play, and give all your creatures Speed Attacker this turn.

Clanvia costs exactly four. So the ship does not have to survive a turn before it attacks — the other thing players were working out.

Inkan D

Type CreatureRace Beat Jockey / Hunter / Specials Cost 6Power 5000+
B・A・D 2Play it for two less; it is destroyed at end of turn. Speed AttackerAttacks the turn it arrives. G・G・GWhen it attacks with your hand at one card or fewer: untap it and draw two. In battle+5000 power while fighting.

The card that lets an empty hand stay empty. Attack, untap, draw two, spend them, attack again — the condition refills itself.

Squalo / Energy Light

Type TwinpactRace Mutopia Creature 4 / 5000Spell 3
NEO EvolutionStacks onto a Water creature, or plays as an ordinary creature. On playReturn every creature with Blocker to its owner's hand. SpellDraw two.

Aimed squarely at the deck currently second on the ladder. Zenith Heaven's Gate cheats Light blockers into play and wins from behind them; this clears the wall for four mana, and the spell half means it is never a dead draw.

Gokuraku Gōha 5.S. Trap

Type SpellCost 7
Shield TriggerCast free from a broken shield. EffectSend an opposing creature to its owner's mana zone, then you may put a Nature creature from your mana zone into play, costing no more than the one you removed. 5.S.D.The opponent turns the fourth card from the top of their deck sideways.
Nobody knows what 5.S.D. is for yet Turning a card sideways inside a deck does nothing on its own. It marks something for a card that has not been revealed. Worth watching for.

Homehome Rō / Homehome Rōku

Type TwinpactRace Jokers Creature 7 / 7000Spell 2
CreatureJ・O・E2, Speed Attacker, Double Breaker, Smash Burst. SpellDraw three, then discard two at random.

The second Smash Burst card. Attack, cast the spell half free, churn three cards for two discards — which in a deck built around an empty hand is not a cost.

The Darkness line has a second half, and it is a tribe

Five more Darkness cards have landed, and every one of them is a Mafi Gang. They discard, they fill the graveyard, and they come back out of it.

Gilles Tocqueville

Smash BurstCasts its own spell half free when it attacks. CreatureWhenever the opponent discards, one of their creatures takes −3000 power for the turn. SpellShield Trigger. Opponent discards a card at random.
This one closes its own loop Attack → Smash Burst casts the spell half free → the opponent discards → which is the exact trigger on the creature half → something of theirs takes −3000.

One card, attacking, produces hand disruption and removal at once. Third Smash Burst card in the set — it is no longer a curiosity.

Bickrino

Cost 5Power 5000 Race Mafi Gang / Specials
On attackOpponent discards a card at random. WeaknessDestroyed when the opponent resolves a Shield Trigger. RecursionAt the end of your turn, if the opponent has no creatures, it returns from your graveyard to the battle zone.
And it changed on the way across In paper, you choose which card the opponent discards. Here it is random — which is better for you, since you are no longer telegraphing anything. It was also a Super Rare in paper and has been demoted to Rare here.
A reader drew this card Bickrino began as an entry to a fan illustration contest run by a children's comic magazine, and was selected. The drawing was printed in the April 2018 issue; the card built from it appeared in a paper set that June.

The magazine's own account calls it both a winning entry and a grand prize in the same article, so this page does not pick one.

Eight years later it is arriving in the digital game. Somebody's drawing, still being printed.

Dogongiyos

Cost 6Power 6000 Race Demon Command / Mafi Gang
On summonYou may discard a card to take three off the cost. BodyBlocker, Slayer, Double Breaker. LockWhen the opponent charges mana, their available mana does not increase.
And it was rewritten upwards on the way across The paper original makes you discard two cards for the cost reduction, and has no Blocker. This version asks for one card and adds the Blocker; the Slayer and the mana lock are unchanged.

Cheaper and with an extra keyword — a clean example of the thing that makes paper card evaluations unreliable here.
Read that last line again Charging one card into the mana zone each turn is how you grow in this game. This shuts that off. The opponent keeps charging and the mana stops going up.

For three mana, if you are willing to pitch a card — which the Darkness deck wants to do anyway.

Barredda

Cost 7Power 5000 Race Mafi Gang / Demon Command
From the graveyardWhile you control a Mafi Gang, you may summon this out of your graveyard for four. On playBin the top two of your deck, then put a Mafi Gang costing six or less from your graveyard into play.

And that is the engine. Barredda comes back for four, fills the graveyard by two, and pulls something else out of it. Everything above costs six or less — Gilles, Georg, Bickrino and Dogongiyos are all legal targets.

A guess from yesterday, now confirmed This page previously noted that a graveyard-filling blocker "looks like it belongs" with the Darkness cards, and flagged that as a reading rather than a fact. Four more cards later, it is a fact. They share a tribe, and one of them explicitly reanimates the others.

And a twenty-second, from a community channel

Banya no Kōhōsai

Type SpellCost 8
Cost skipReturn two Madougu from your battle zone and two from your graveyard to your deck, and cast it for nothing. EffectMove four Madougu from your deck to the graveyard, then use four from the graveyard as the stack for a free Dolsuzak.
This one was weakened coming across, not strengthened Pulling specific cards out of your deck in paper is exact. Here it becomes a Super Search — a capped, partly random lookup — and the cards it stacks underneath are randomised too.

Both directions happen. The Darkness SR above got cheaper and gained a keyword; this one lost precision. There is no rule that the digital version is kinder.

The Madougu spells that make the Darkness engine run

Three cheap Water spells were shown on the official video channel on Grand Prix day. They are the fuel for the two-cost field above — every one you cast goes underneath it.

CardCostWhat it does
Daju Gonpadu 2Look at the top three, take one, rest to the bottom.
Daju Gyapudu 2Draw one. Super Shield Trigger: if it fires that way, no opposing creature can attack or block.
Daju Airvo 4Shield Trigger. Bounce anything costing seven or less.
Super Shield Trigger is a different keyword An ordinary Shield Trigger fires from any broken shield. A Super Shield Trigger has a further condition attached and does something larger when it is met — here, shutting down the opponent's whole board for a turn. Most of the time you cast the card normally and get the small effect.

The point of the cheap two-cost ones is speed. The field wants four spells underneath it before it does anything, so the deck runs ten or more cards that cost two and dig. Getting the field down by turn three is the whole opening.

And one of them shows the usual weakening not happening A recurring pattern when cards cross over is that they become opponent-only — a bounce spell that could hit anything in paper can only hit their side here.

The four-cost bounce above was not restricted that way. It can return your own cards, which matters because the field is a card you sometimes want back. It did lose something else, though: it now targets elements rather than cards, so the spells stacked under a returned field come back with it rather than going to the graveyard.

A fourth Smash Burst, and the cycle is confirmed

Kiseki Beiburenra / Super Eternal Spark

Type TwinpactKeyword Smash Burst

Revealed through Corocoro. Light was the civilization the pattern predicted, and Light is what arrived. Its spell half is an existing card, like the others.

Where this one came from The magazine that revealed it is the same one that, in December 2018, gave away a supplement printing every card in the paper set this whole release is named after. The card was in that supplement, in the Light section.

Eight years later the magazine is revealing it again, for the digital version of the same set.

And Light gets a blocker that fetches blockers

Welkius

Type CreatureRace Angel Command Cost 9Power 7500
BodyBlocker, Double Breaker. TriggerOn arrival, and again whenever one of your creatures wins a battle: draw a card, then you may put a Blocker from your hand into play.

Nine mana, and no deck will pay it. A nine-cost Light Blocker is exactly what Heaven's Gate cheats into play for free — and this one, on arrival, puts another Blocker out behind it.

Which changes what that deck is doing The Nature/Light preconstructed deck currently plays the Gate as a ceiling: two big blockers, then win from behind them. This makes the Gate a chain instead. Cheat this in, it fetches a third; block with it and win the battle, it fetches a fourth.

The seven-card battle zone cap starts to matter at that point — a full board turns the next one into a discard.

The set is retelling a comic from 2018

Messer Schmitt

Civ NatureRace Spriggan / Grand Sect Cost 8Power 8000+
BodyMach Fighter, Double Breaker, and +4000 power while fighting. UnusualYou may summon it out of your mana zone, not only from hand. On winningDraw a card. If it is the first battle it has won this turn, you may drag another of the opponent's creatures into a fight with it.
Three cards in this set are the same scene In the 2018 comic that ran alongside the paper release, Messer Schmitt is a legendary hunter who has been brainwashed, and he fights alongside the Darkness factory boss — the Twinpact further up this page.

He is beaten by the Jokers hero, and with his dying words hands over the power that turns that hero into his upgraded form — the creature shown in this set's teaser trailer.

Georg, Messer Schmitt and the upgraded Jokers hero are all in set 37. The set is not a pile of reprints from a period; it is a specific story, cast as cards.

Which is a thing English-speaking players have no access to. The comic has never been published in English, so the connective tissue between these cards is invisible unless somebody points at it.

And a creature that keeps working after it dies

Diamon-shō

Civ LightRace Metallica / Sabakist / Crest of Judgement Cost 4Power 4000
BodyBlocker. DiscountWhile it is face up in the battle zone or on top of one of your shields, your Crest spells cost one less. Never below zero. Killing it does not stop it Destroy it and it moves onto a shield, still face up, still discounting your spells and still drawing you cards. Removal does not answer this card; it relocates it.

It also stops taking up space. A creature sitting on a shield is not in the battle zone, so it no longer counts against the seven-card cap.

The hero from that story arrives, with a fourth new keyword

Three Jokers cards landed on 18 September, and the middle one is the upgraded hero the comic plot above was building towards.

Oramacha the Johnny

Race JokersCost 8Power 13000+

CounterWhen the opponent casts a spell, discard a Jokers card costing at least as much and the spell goes to the graveyard uncast.
That last line is aimed at this set's own decks The Darkness and Water halves of set 37 are built on spells — the field that banks them, the ship that casts them free, the ninety-nine cost payoff. This card answers all of it from hand, for the price of pitching a Jokers card.

Players are already asking the obvious question in the replies: does it stop a spell cast off the field, which is not cast from hand? No answer yet.

NEO EvolutionOnto a Jokers creature — and two cheaper if summoned that way. J Change 8When it attacks, swap it with a Jokers creature costing eight or less from your mana zone. On playPut a Jokers card from your graveyard into your mana zone.

The bridge — out of the mana zone, not your hand. Five mana as an evolution, and its swap reaches anything up to eight, which is what the hero above costs. So the ramp spell that buries a Jokers card in your mana is also setting up the swap.

Oraora Jokers

Type SpellCost 3

Mach FighterAttacks creatures the turn it arrives. On attackReveal the top three of your deck; every Twinpact among them goes to your mana zone, the rest to the bottom. +5000 per card banked, for the turn. Muteki NijiteiWhen you would lose, or the opponent would win: if you have cast five or more spell halves of Twinpact creatures this turn while leaving those creatures in play — you win the game instead. If you have not, put eight cards from your mana zone under your deck and carry on.
Read that in the right order This is an alternate win condition first and a safety net second. The official summary described the fallback — survive by burying eight mana — and that is the half that fires when you have not done the work. Do the work and the same trigger simply ends the game in your favour.

The work is Rinfinity, the keyword on the five reprinted Nature creatures that share a name: cast a Twinpact’s spell half while the creature stays on the board. Five of those in a turn, and the loss you were about to take becomes a win.
Why that loops Two things in the card text do the work.

Summoning one of the five untaps your whole mana zone. Not part of it, all of it. You pay nine and the nine come straight back, usable again in the same turn.

And Rinfinity pays you for copies. Each time you cast a spell half from the battle zone, you put the top card of your deck into your mana zone — once for every you control. Four on the board is four cards a cast. You still pay for the spell, and the creature is not put in the graveyard afterwards, so it casts again.

Every cast builds mana, every summon refunds mana, and the mana is coming off the top of your own deck. So the deck empties itself — and emptying it is what fires Minogami: a win if you reached five casts, and if you did not, the eight-card fallback puts mana back under the deck so you can keep going.

Which also explains the Twinpacts everywhere in this set. They are not a convenience — they are the win condition’s raw material.

Five keywords arriving here for the first time

KeywordWhat it doesSeen on
Smash BurstCast the card’s own spell half free when it attacks4 cards
Master Mach FighterAttacks creatures immediately; winning untaps it and breaks a shield1 card
Muteki NijiteiTurns a loss into a win if you cast five Twinpact spell halves that turn; otherwise buries eight mana to survive1 card
Master G・G・GFree if the card is the only one in your hand1 card
5.S.D.Marks the opponent’s fourth card — purpose unrevealed1 card
"New" here means new to this game, not to the game The official account has announced three of these as new abilities — the ones in bold. Both of those are keywords that already existed in the paper game in 2018; what is new is that PLAY'S now has them.

The other two are printed on cards without any such announcement. They may be equally new, or they may be wordings this game already had and I have not seen before. This page does not know which, and says so rather than guessing.
Smash Burst is a cycle, not four loose cards Look at what the spell halves are: each one is an existing card. Crystal Memory, Ghost Touch, Super Eternal Spark and the Jokers spell are all cards the game already had.

So the pattern is a new creature welded to a reprint, one per civilization. All four keywords are in the glossary.

Another Baraghiara — but not one of the five

Bōmeiten Baraghiara / Gaia's Awakening

Type TwinpactRace Grand Sect / Hazard Creature 9 / 14000Spell 8
CreatureMach Fighter, Triple Breaker, and every creature in the game breaks one extra shield. SpellShield Trigger. Each player sends two of their own creatures to their mana zone.
It is a different card that shares half a name The five announced at the Grand Prix are — one named category, Master Hazard, 9 for 17000, and all five carry Rinfinity.

This is : a different name, a different race line, 9 for 14000, and no Rinfinity.

That cuts it off from the set's win condition twice over. Without Rinfinity you cannot cast its spell half while the creature stays in play, so it never counts towards Minogami's five. And because Rinfinity on the real five counts your Tenchi Meidō Baraghiara specifically, this card does not even feed them.

Note also what the creature does: "every creature" includes the opponent's. Playing it hands the other player an extra shield break on each of their attackers too.

Something leaves as well, on the same day

New Division rotates when the set arrives New Division holds the six most recent releases. A new one arriving pushes the oldest out, and that happens on 24 September along with everything above.

Those cards do not stop existing — they remain legal in All Division, which rotates nothing. But a New Division deck leaning on the outgoing set stops being legal that morning.

The set going out is DMPP-32, , from September 2025. A Japanese strategy site publishes the rotation schedule a year at a time and has this one marked for September — with the unnumbered special pack that left in July listed in the same table, which is what makes the count add up.

If you are building in New Division before the 24th, check whether your deck leans on that set. A card database will tell you which release a card came from and which formats it is legal in.

What the full list confirms

The complete contents are published: ninety cards, plus four Ultra Golden reprints and twelve secrets. The thirty-four above were shown one a day; the rest arrived as a block. Most of the remainder is what fills a set out — commons and uncommons that support the archetypes rather than define them — but the cycles they form settle a few things this page had been guessing at.

LineCards in the list
Madougu spells 5
Kyōki numbered demons 5
Crest of Judgement 6
Baraghiara-named6
Churis 4
Metallica “Kiseki” and “Gin”6
One cycle worth naming Three Metallica Twinpacts share a naming pattern — , , — green "knowledge", red "attack", blue "defence". Three, not five — Light and Darkness have no counterpart in this set. Each is a creature welded to a cheap spell, the same construction as the Smash Burst cards.

The set is built almost entirely out of cycles: five of this, six of that, one per colour. That is what a set assembled from old preconstructed decks looks like.

What the full list does not do is change the reading above. The Fire cards still empty your hand, the Darkness and Water cards still bank things, and the win condition still runs on Twinpacts. The extra fifty-five reinforce those lines rather than adding a sixth.

The five headline creatures are secrets The cycle is marked Sec on the official reveals — part of the twelve secrets rather than the ninety. The card the set's win condition depends on is in its rarest slot.

What this set actually is

Not yet known

Sources

Corrected 14 September The first version said eight cards and framed the set as being about emptying your hand. Both were wrong. At least ten are out, and the Darkness cards shown on Grand Prix day do the opposite — they stack cards up rather than spend them.

The cause was narrow watching: I checked the official account on the day of the Grand Prix, saw the tournament result and the set teaser, and did not scroll past them. Four card reveals were sitting underneath.
Corrected 15 September The tutor spell was first described as searching your deck. It does not. PLAY'S replaces most paper search effects with a capped, partly random lookup, and this one uses the larger version of it. The distinction is now set out above.
Updated 15–16 September The six cards previously listed by name only have been read and described. Three new keywords have turned up rather than one, and the two open questions players were asking a day ago both have answers now — the 22-cost spell is cast off Clanvia, and Clanvia itself can attack the turn it lands via Buttobi Scramble.

One question is still open: whether Money King arrives tapped.

16–20 Sep: five Darkness cards, three Water spells, a fourth Smash Burst card, a Light blocker, a Nature hunter, a Light crest creature and three Jokers cards added, taking the count to thirty-two — all of which have their text described. A keyword arrived with the Jokers hero. The tribe they share confirms a connection this page had flagged as a guess.

Also corrected: the Nature Shield Trigger was listed as coming from an unknown channel — it was a Corocoro exclusive. The contest card was described as having won its contest; the source is not consistent about that, so the claim has been softened.

Corrected 15 Sep: the poll figure was first described as "an actual number", against the posts around it. That was the wrong distinction. It is counted rather than sampled, but it forecasts a card nobody has played — not the same kind of thing as the ranked data this site reports elsewhere.
Corrected 19 September Two fixes. J Change pulls from your mana zone, not your hand, and reaches anything at or below the stated cost rather than exactly it — the first version had both wrong.

And the keyword section said "four new keywords". The publisher has announced two, both of which are older paper keywords arriving in this game for the first time. The other two are described on cards with no announcement attached, and this page no longer asserts that they are new.
Updated 19 September The release date is announced: 24 September. Added the creature the set is named after, and with it a third officially-announced keyword — which turns out to be an alternate win condition rather than the safety net the summary described.
Corrected 20 September This page said the departing set could not be identified, on the reasoning that unnumbered special packs muddy the count. That was a failure to look properly. The schedule is published a year ahead, the July special pack is in it, and September's entry is DMPP-32.

Caution is not the same as accuracy. Declining to state something checkable is its own kind of error.
Corrected 20 September The newly revealed Nature card was described here as "a sixth Baraghiara". It is not one of the five — it carries a different name, a different race line and different stats, and the keyword the five share counts only cards with their name. Reframed above.
Updated 23 September The complete list is out. This page keeps the thirty-four that were revealed one at a time, because those are the ones with text worth describing, and adds what the full list confirms.

It changes nothing above. Which is the useful result: a reading taken from a third of a set held up against the whole of it.
Corrected 23 September The set was described here as eighty-nine cards. That number was mine, not the publisher's — I counted links on a guide site. The set is ninety cards plus four gold reprints plus twelve secrets.

Two smaller fixes with it: the five Baraghiara are secrets, and the three-card Metallica cycle was described as one per civilization when only three civilizations have one.
Live as of 24 September The maintenance window ran 9:00–17:00 JST, half an hour earlier than the date first given. Everything described above is now playable, the rotation has happened, and the metagame this was measured against starts moving today.
